We still can’t believe this thing has actually been made – following years of production delays – but the latest trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road certainly makes a convincing argument for its existence.
George Miller’s long-in-the-works passion project sees Tom Hardy take over for Mel Gibson (mercifully) in the role of Max. He’s joined by Charlize Theron and a very odd looking Nicholas Hoult in this lengthy car chase of a movie.
Miller told the crowd at Comic Con that he never wrote a script for the feature, due to the almost complete lack of dialogue, instead relying on a 3500-frame storyboard.
Take one look at this nutso, balls-to-the-wall trailer, you’ll probably agree a script was hardly necessary.
It arrives in cinemas next year.
